Vintage original 8 x 10” (20 x 25 cm.) silver gelatin still photo, U. S. Robert Donat, Madeleine Carroll, Peggy Ashcroft, John Laurie, dir: Alfred Hitchcock: Gaumont British. A film made in Britain during Hitchcock’s pre-Hollywood days, and one of his finest works. The story of a man (Robert Donat) on the run, who becomes handcuffed to a girl and who is accused of a murder. He sets out to break the spy ring who committed the murder to prove him self innocent. In this scene, a couple (John Laurie and Peggy Ashcroft) in the country assist him in his plight. Type on back for showing at the Roxy Theater.
