Fascinating and rare look at life at the studio. Lupino and Paramount starlets Gwenlillian Gill and Lona Andre were required to take diction and acting lessons as part of their days under contract at the studio. In this study, they performed in a play presented at the Studio Theatre, under the direction of their diction coach Phyllis Loughton. Each were aged and played character roles. The purpose of the experiment was to apprise directors, producers and writers of the young player's talents. For whatever reason the publicity department wanted these girls to be known as being 16 and 18. They were 19 and 20.
